Description-Students use the $1000 Windfall example in their handout, and create their own data set of Items and Costs – must have between 6 and 8 items. Use the charts options in MS Excel to generate a 3D PIE chart based on the data in the handout. Students must show data value by using the “labels” option from their “Toolbox”.
Reflection-I had to choose several things I would buy if I had 1,000 dollars. Once I chose what I wanted, I put how much I would spend on each, making it add up to 1,000. Then I turned it into a pie chart, and pasted it onto a word document, then posted it on here. I used excel, and word. It was cool having to figure out a way to spend $1,000.
