About me
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts. From there, I went on to get my Master in the Arts of Teaching from Pacific University. I’ve been teaching for the last 22 years. I’ve taught grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Don’t tell anyone, but first grade is my FAVORITE! I love, love, love first grade energy, enthusiasm, sweetness and willingness to take risks and learn. I call my firsties fearless learners. It’s truly amazing what they accomplish this year. I hope that your child has an amazing year.
My husband, Steve and I have been married for 27 years. He is a high school teacher. Our fifteen year-old twin daughters, are our pride and joy. Kassidy plays volleyball for Sheldon and Webfoot. Skylar runs track and cross country for Sheldon.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, paddle boarding, biking, swimming, reading, and hanging out with my family, and two cats.
