Our Science Units for the Year
Air and Weather: In the fall, students will explore the properties of air as they participate in hands on, inquiry based learning. They will make parachutes and kites, make models to measure the speed of wind, observe and record daily weather and lots more!
Sound and Light: In the winter, we being our physical science unit on sound and light.
Life Cycle of Butterflies: Painted Lady Butterfly eggs will arrive in the spring. We will watch as they hatch into caterpillars, tuck themselves into chrysalises and emerge as butterflies. We will learn all about insects and observe their various body parts and behaviors.
