Artist in Residence
Thanks to the generosity of Parents at Holt School (PAHS) fundraising efforts, first graders get the chance to do ceramics with Artist in Residence, Laura Jackson. Students spend three days in March designing and creating clay projects. In April, we will glaze and fire our artwork. Students will be bringing home their artwork in May and June. We hope that you love your one-of-a-kind piece that your child made especially for you.
Holt also is was the recipient of a grant that funded an amazing storyteller. Kelly wears the most outrageous hats that relate to the great stories that she tells. She plays the recorder and keeps the students highly entertained for a half hour. Be sure to ask your child which story is his/her favorite.
