Video Angles and Shots
Video Camera Angle Exercise
Students learn to use the video camera to demonstrate an understanding of various techniques. They use the Shots and Angles handout to reference 5 video camera filming techniques, then compile the footage in iMovie to show their work. Movies are uploaded to Vimeo and then presented on their ePortfolios. This exercise is completed while working on the PSA #1 Assignment.
Reflection: In this assignment I made a video story about where ad how to use different angles with a story line. The camera angles we used were dolly, hand-held, tilt, pan, and zoom. This assignment was very fun because I got to use a dolly and make a video with my friends. I can’t wait for our next video assignment.
