About Ms. Ginger
Hello,
I am so glad you are here to learn with me. I cannot wait to learn about you! Here’s a bit about me in the 4 designations of Kids at Hope. These are four different areas in life that we should each aspire to fulfill to feel complete and successful.
Home and Family
I am married and have 4 children, 2 grandchildren, and a kitty cat. We just built a new house, so my life is busy getting organized and getting the front and backyard all set.
Education and Career
I love school. I guess that’s makes sense since I am a teacher! I went to school in Arizona and have 3 education degrees. I was an educator in AZ for 13 years before moving to Oregon in 2018. Guess what though? Teaching is not my first career. I have also been a restaurant manager, semiconductor maker, and a catering company owner.
Community and Service
I currently serve as the assistance treasurer of the PTO at Charlemagne Elementary. In addition, I like to find volunteer opportunities at my church and in my neighborhood.
Hobbies and Recreation
I love being outdoors which includes gardening, hiking, traveling, playing on the beach, and watching sunrises/sunsets/stars. Reading books is a joy for me, but with Miss Gracie, the books are all kids books! I look forward to regaining my reading independence someday. I scrapbook when I have time and take on home projects.
