Paths
Living in the rural town would be too boring. You came here for adventure. The paths are almost indistinguishable, seeming like one world but becoming another. Eventually, you end up in a sub-zero world with a low hope of survival, but manage to reach the Ice Citadel, a community of other lost travelers, safely. You may be stuck here forever, but it is better than being dead.
