Pandora's Star Adventure

With the new adaptive technology you gained from the native species, the ship is destroyed in only a few seconds with no time to signal distress. Now that the barrier is gone your rivals at Dyson Alpha try to retake your planets. As expansion continues neither side is able to secure a victory. This leads to many wars over the years, so by the time you reach the Commonwealth (those who sent the ship) you are weakened and are an easy target. You are now extinct.
