Digital media

FINAL PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

discription:students are to demonstrate their knowledge of using Photoshop tools including masking tools, image resizing and filters. They must find a background image at either 1024×768 pixels or 800×600 pixels, and then bring in a minimum of 4 images from the web to create a fantasy composite image. Composition, masking, detail, perspective and other basic design technique will be included in the grading. Files must be saves as native .psd and also as a .pdf. Students will upload their final piece as a PDF to their ePortfolios as a page/kid to Digital media with the assignment order number, and with a detailed assignment description (can be copied and pasted from here) and reflection restating what they did, how they did it, and how they feel about their work.

reflection: my final and best project ever.

Students learn the basic tools and use of Flash timeline, frames, key frames, and tweens to create a 120 frame (10 second) animation. The animation must have at least 5 layers (1 layer for each ball, and a layer for an object that will appear, spin and disappear, the show up again at the very end), and use tweens to create synchronized animation that has 4 different colored balls or objects positioned in the 4 corners of the canvas that close to the center either individually or at the same time, then pause and split back out to the original 4 corners position. When the balls split away at the end, an object will appear, spin, disappear, and show up again at the end.

Students who finish early, are challenged to add additional layers, objects, backgrounds and animation to their exercise. Images can also be brought in from the web using this process: JPG images found on the web should be in approximate size to the canvas, opened in Photoshop, manipulated if necessary, backgrounds masked, and then the remaining areas other than the image made transparent. The file must be saved as a PNG, then Imported to the Library in the Flash file, a new layer created for it, then dragged from the library, and finally sized and positioned on the canvas to work with the rest of the design. Files are saved as native Flash files and exported as .mov fi

reflection this is my most manly project ever.

The animation must have 4 layers (Head, Eye Sockets, Eyeballs, and Ball), and use tweens to create synchronized animation that has the eyeballls following the motion of the ball around the screen canvas.

description:Students use their familiarity with Illustrator tools they learned in the Name Game assignment (including the selection and direct selection tools, and specialized applications using text, using layers, gradients, symbols, clipping masks, and shape manipulation tools) to modify a cartoon character, superhero, or comic character that they will use a basis for creating a fantasy makeover. For this assignment, students must demonstrate knowledge of each of the listed tools and applications in one design that is theme based/tells a story. The outcome should not appear to be a random showing, but instead a deliberate and well though out composition showing their ability to use the tools.
Students will save their work as both a native .ai file and as a .pdf file to their files1. Students will upload their final piece as a PDF to their ePortfolios as a page/kid to Digital media with the assignment order number, and with a detailed assignment description (can be copied and pasted from here) and reflection restating what they did, how they did it, and how they feel about their work

Students learn to use the cameras to demonstrate an understanding of various techniques. They use the Shots and Angles handout to reference 5 camera shots and 5 camera angles, then compile the footage in iMovie to show their work. Students will provide their own soundtrack using Garage Band, then upload to their ePortfolios.

Reflection:i thought i did poorly on it because most of the shots are pointless and the music is the worst ever done.
