Here are the plans for Friday November 6, 2015
- Use your iPad to read and mark the text for “Conservation of Energy” from the Reflections.EWIT.3.0 (if you don’t have a charged iPad, read page 58 in Student Textbook).
- On page 54 in your SN write the heading: EWIT 3.0 Reflections. Then write a paragraph demonstrating your understanding of the “Law of Conservation of Energy”. Be sure to give several examples to support your description. Then draw a colored and labeled diagram of a “system” that illustrates your understanding of the concept. This example could include an electric device or a circuit that we have built in class.
- Open “Extending your knowledge Energy Star- A Bright Idea” in notability on your iPad. Mark the text by circling key words and highlighting main ideas.
- Write C-notes for Energy Star- A Bright Idea” on page 55 of your SN: Circle Key terms, underline or highlight main ideas and then write a question on the left for each main idea. Before you write your summary, collaborate with a partner to see whether you missed anything important: Write your summary in class if you have time. The Essential Question: Describe the energy star program and how it can be used by consumers to reduce the amount of energy they/we use.
- All SNs are due Monday: Make sure yours is complete pages 42-55!
