Oh my goodness, the solar challenge is fast approaching. We will decide on teams by Friday, May 31st for Saturday’s multi-district race. Students who will be attending the solar challenge should come to school as early as 9:00 am (at my back door) for last minute gluing and adjustments. All team members must be present before registration which can start at 9:30. The first races at 11:00. Students will receive a free t-shirt and lunch. I also promised them doughnuts for coming to school early on a Saturday! Students should be finished between 1:00 and 2:30 depending how well their car does. Sorry everything is so last minute. Since school gets out a week early and we had OAKS testing go so late, I just didn’t plan enough time for the project. Luckily I have some really dedicated students who are making the most of my morning office hours to perfect their cars. See you in the sun!
