Creating Charts/Graphs for work sample

  1. Open Excel
  2. Make column A be independent variable, type in types in A,1 A,2 etc
  3. Make column 2 be the dependent variable Type in scores/measurements in B,1 B,2
  4. Highlight all data
  5. Go to Insert and choose Chart
  6. Select an appropriate chart. (The independent variable should be on the x axis.)
  7. Click on the Toolbox icon on the tool bar above
  8. Select Chart Labels and click on chart title. Then type in title for your graph in the box labeled Click here to add Title. Type in your detailed title
  9. You should also use chart labels to label your horizontal (x) and vertical axes.

10. When you have labeled everything grab the chart/graph and double click on the chart and copy it (apple c) or pull down file and select copy, and then paste it into the bottom half of page 3. Save!

11. Now go to page four and back space the 4 square to the top of the page!

If you wish to put a prediction chart on page 1, use the same procedure, but make up the data to be what you initially predicted it to be.

Good Luck!
