We are working on two major projects right now.
ANCHOR ACTIVITY: The anchor activity is being done at home and is due Tuesday, December 7th. Here are details about the Anchor Activity. The final project will be a major grade at the beginning of the second trimester. The outline for the Anchor Activity was due last Wednesday November 23 and about 50% of students turned in outlines on time. Outline grades will be posted by Monday November 28th.
WORK SAMPLE: The work sample is an experiment that each student is working on designing and doing in class. The topic is comparing the solubility of certain solutes. Solubility is the mass of a substance called a solute, that can dissolve in a certain volume of another substance which is called the solvent. The students have written procedures and are starting to complete their experiments this week. The final written work sample (which I prefer to have typewritten) is due December 8th.
