DT MODULE 1 – BRANDING AND LOGO DESIGN
Students will learn basic concepts of creating a brand, marketing influences and tenets, typography and logo design. Students will demonstrate this knowledge by using vocabulary centric logo design and branding, designing 2 brands and accompanying logos, outputting final work on the 3D laser printer.
Assignment #1: Personal Name Brand Assignment (30 Points)
- Sketch Brand/Logo Design – pencil and paper (5 points)
- Finalize Typography, use drawing tools in Adobe Illustrator to create logo based off sketch (20 points)
- Output final approved iteration on laser printer (5 points)
Assignment #2: Company, Product, or Organization Brand (30 Points)
