11th Grade: We spent the first half of class listening to and discussing Annabel Lee- such an amazing piece. Excellent class contributions talking about form and meaning. The second half of class was given to work on Found Poem. Remember Found poem should include original Gothic artwork that displays at least three characteristics of Gothic Art/Lit.
HW: Found Poem due Monday; Final Portfolio due 11/10
9th Grade: We discussed our final Convict Take today: “Absalom Day’s Promotion”. If you were out, please complete questions 1-7 in your packet. We also listened to a number of Ballads and began to craft our own Convict Ballad.
