9th Grade: Today we discussed The Human Condition in Literature – and read the poem “The Passport Photo” in relation to our conversation. Please see the second half of the PP for the clips and sound clips from class. We also had a little time for vocab review. See me for the handout. megachicken
HW: Review Vocab for 15 minutes
9th Grade: After a round of vocab bingo, among other vocab review startegies…we got down to business with our conversation about the Sacred. We did not get as far as I had planned, but did manage to begin the article “Searching for Miracles” and gather into our groups. If you were out, see me for an article and a handout and to find out who is in your group.
HW: Study for Vocab Test: on Thursday.
11th Grade: Today I reviewed formal writing organization and handed back P#3 with comments. We debriefed from our guest speaker and used the rest of the classtime to set up for P#5 or write Portfolio #4
