9A and 9B
9th Grade: Today we discussed more on cultural bias as well as sensory language. We completed a food activity where we tried different foods and tried our hand at describing them with attention to language and detail. In class we completed a creative paragraph. We then began our third travel story and third note taking assignment, paraphrasing in the margins of “On and Off the Kokoda Trail”. Please finish this up for HW.
HW: Read and Highlight important information for “On and Off the Kokoda Trail”. Put simple margin notes signifying paragraph’s main focus.
9C LIT
Today we discussed “On and Off the Kokoda Trail”. See PP for specifics. We did a writing activity on setting and students enjoyed sharing and guessing the setting. kokodatrail

11th grade LOTA
