9th Grade: Today we completed our group presentations on Nelson Mandela. We also read an article written on the humanness of Mandela- written by none other than our Nadine Gordimer! Our passbook assignment was to find two quotes that shows Mandela’s humanness. After we began out documentary “Amandla”

11th Grade: Today we discussed the concept of revolution in the novel. We made comparisons to characters and figures of the Mexican Revolution and did some partner writing work with the compare and contrast model. if you were out, please get the handout as I collected the writing we did.
