9th Grade
We completed a sensory creative writing exercise recreating a reliable setting from the novel. After, I checked outlines and students had the rest of class to use the computers for their writing. I conferenced with individual students on their outlines.
HW: COMPLETE ROUGH DRAFT- due next class.
11th Grade IB LOTA (All Classes)
We started with a quick passage analysis quiz- followed with an introduction to the literary criticism assignment. See me both both of these if you were out. After, students selected motifs and worked on their symbols/motifs poster. We wil present these at the start of next class.
HW: Finish posters and read chapter 6; article due on Friday
