9th Grade
Today we completed and shared our song lyrics bringing South Africa’s study of Apartheid to a close. We read a poem entitled “Dry Your Tears, Africa” and completed partner questions with the poem analysis. After discussing this, we completed out final Passbook Assignment with the poem- and turned our passbooks in.
HW: Essay corrections are due 3/17- Remember I need the original essay with comments, the rubric, and the final- if one of these pieces is missing I will not be able to regrade your essay.
11th Grade
We went over Frida Art connections and general symbols/motifs that have come up in the novel. Partners completed an alchemy/recipe assignment and shared out. Please see the PP if you were out (note the EC on the Powerpoint): Day 5 Like Water 2012
