Today was the final day for completing dot art. If you did not get a chance to finish, please ensure you come in this week during lunch or after school to finish what you started! I look forward to seeing these final Aboriginal-inspired pieces!

HOMEWORK: Please read Wongar’s “Marngit” and complete the vocabulary section. Please choose 6 questions to answer in complete sentences. Absent? Get this from our class bin!

11th Grade LIT

Morning classes received their Portfolios back and picked up a blue sheet for the final version (Due November 5th). After, we discussed “The Black Cat” and elements of suspense. Students noted the four elements of suspense from a particular section from the story- and put together a quick skit to showcase pacing, foreshadowing, and danger (the elements of suspense). Absent? Grab a grey chart from the bin! Make up assignment for the skit is on the back!

HOMEWORK: Read “A Tell Tale Heart” Poe’s most famous work!
