9th Grade Global LIT
Today was the final day for completing dot art. If you did not get a chance to finish, please ensure you come in this week during lunch or after school to finish what you started! I look forward to seeing these final Aboriginal-inspired pieces!
HOMEWORK: Please read Wongar’s “Marngit” and complete the vocabulary section. Please choose 6 questions to answer in complete sentences. Absent? Get this from our class bin!
11th GRADE LOTA
After a reading quiz, we gathered in groups of 5 to create a life size vision of the Hawthorn’s creepy Mr. Hooper. Students traced a group member and then filled the shape with all things Mr Hooper- including his thoughts, symbols, and of course a representations of the veil. We presented our findings to the class. If you were out be sure to get the POE packet!
HOMEWORK: Read “The Black Cat” and annotate for elements of Gothic Literature and foreshadowing.
