9th Grade (Both Sections)
Today we began our dot paintings! If you were out, please grab a yellow paper handout and follow the directions! We will finish our art next class!

11th Grade (Section 12) LOTA
After a reading quiz, we gathered in groups of 5 to create a life size vision of the Hawthorn’s creepy Mr. Hooper. Students traced a group member and then filled the shape with all things Mr Hooper- including his thoughts, symbols, and of course a representations of the veil. We presented out findings and will finish up with presentations next class. If you were out be sure to get the POE packet!
HOMEWORK: Read “The Black Cat” and annotate for elements of Gothic Literature and foreshadowing.
