We are just a few weeks away from taking the 8th grade OAKS science test. This test will cover material from 6th, 7th and 8th grade science. Our science staff at Cal Young recognizes that you may be a little rusty on your earth science and life science, so we have arranged a couple of review days where you get to go back to 6th and 7th grade and review with the teachers who taught you the material. The 7th grade review will take place in Mr Baker ‘s(1st period) and Ms Ruzicka’s (2nd and 3rd period) room on April 17th. 6th grade review will take place in Ms MacWilliam’s room on Tuesday April 24th. On April 20th a group of staff from Sheldon will be visiting science classes and explaining registration to you. There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday April 24th at 7:00 at Sheldon as a follow-up. Parents of 8th graders planning to attend Sheldon are strongly encouraged to attend.
