This weeks courtyard clean up class is Mrs. Loo’s homeroom.  If you haven’t signed up yet, please sign up HERE.  Also, HERE is the link to a tutorial for folks who would like to begin having students download the articles into notability.   As a reminder, articles will be emailed to students on Wednesday mornings. Extra copies of the article are available by the mailboxes.  This week is unique in that all days are moved up a day given that there is no school on Thursday.  I will email the article out on Tuesday morning.

Homeroom Week of September 10th

This week in Homeroom we will be participating in DFZ (Discrimination Free Zone) activities.  We will have an assembly on Monday morning, and DFZ lessons Tuesday through Thursday.  Welcome back to the first full week of school!

2018-2019 Homeroom

Welcome to the 2018-2019 Cougar Pride blog.  For Homeroom this year we are changing things slightly, and are very excited! With the new schedule we have early release on Friday not Wednesday.  Thus, we will have homeroom Monday-Thursday only.  The structure will be as follows: Monday will be devoted to an expectations review which will address ongoing student/building needs.  Information and activities will be provided ahead of time.  Tuesday will be a time to learn and implement various learning strategies pulled from our School Improvement Plan.  This will take place in a non-content specific manner aimed at creating unity and building relationships in our homerooms.  On Wednesday we will be reading WordGenWeekly articles and having a time for student response in various ways.  Thursday will offer an extension activity from Wednesday’s article using the strategy learned on Tuesday.  There will be more information as well as a calendar posted ASAP.
