Mondays – Connections Days – Students and teachers focus on housekeeping and class building exercises. Students also set weekly goes in ePortfolios.
Tuesdays – Expectations Review – Students view a video, slideshow, or other announcement on a given topic and WEB Leaders facilitate discussions using a series of guided questions.
Wednesdays – No homeroom
Thursdays – Individual Reading Time – Students read a pre-selected article, which incorporates the week’s tier II academic vocabulary. Teachers check in one-on-one with two or three students. Articles will be in staff mailboxes Thursday morning.
Fridays – Academic Day – Students reflect on weekly goals set on Monday in their ePortfolios. Teachers check student planners and students visit Student Vue.
