Temperatures Database
Description: Students use the Temperatures data set in their handouts to create a data set to show Normal Average Daily Temperatures in Eugene. The challenge is for students to figure out their category/column headers on their own, and make a line graph like the example in the handouts. Use the charts options in MS Excel to generate a Line Graph chart based on the data in the handout. Students must show data value by using the “labels” option from their “Toolbox”.
Reflection: We had to find what the daily temperatures in Eugene were. Then we put it into Microsoft Excel and made it into a line graph. This wasn’t the hardest challenge because you pretty much had to copy off of a paper that Mr.Schiff gave you.
