11th Grade IB LOTA
We began with a quick scavenger Hunt quiz on our two Hawthorne stories thus far. I reviewed Chiaroscuro technique and we looked at how Hawthorne uses this in his writing to “paint a picture” of the scene. After further annotating our text for elements of Gothic literature, we broke into groups and completed the activity on the handout from last class. Absent? Look on your gray Chiaroscuro technique handout and select a section to find examples of. Two examples will be fine.
And drumroll… NO HOMEWORK!
