Title: High School
I walk in on day one excited as ever,
Pen in hand ready to make its mark.
A year later the books lose weight,
The familiar path goes on smooth as ever.
One more since and my bag screams in agony,
Sleepless nights bunk with uncontrollable anxiety and depression.
After what felt like forever I’m here,
In bed realizing that I forgot to set an alarm.

Title: Beautiful Site
The trees up above, from below are tall as ever
When would I leave? Probably never
A waterfall glistening,
To the wind I am listening,
It is here I feel light as a feather.
Even higher is the sun, so beautiful and bright
Warm rays coming down, not too hot but just right
All around there are flowers,
Some stubs and some towers,
No photos exist of this beautiful site

Title: Lying to Ourselves
Tune: Parents by Yungblud
[Intro]
This is one interesting hellish century
Screens tearing us apart from reality
The blazing lights brought up to our eyes
Life will be like this until the day we die
[Verse 1]
And then what
Will happen to us
If we go through life now without a fuss
Only online
Interactions
Will make up the bigger fraction
[Chorus]
But just think
It will be alright
Cause it won’t change anyways
[Rap]
If we were to look back
We’d all freaking laugh
At all that we’ve created
Yes we’d call it innovative
[Verse 2]
But we’d
Be lying to ourselves
With what we once read from bookshelves
Our brainless
Hopeless species
Would post more meaningless theories
[Chorus]
But just think
It will be alright
Cause it won’t change anyways

Title: Red Leaf
One red leaf remains
Its family has fallen
Soon, it will fall too

Title: Sunset
The nervous sunset
Hiding behind the mountain
Too scared to be seen
Its colors flooding the sky
A distraction as it leaves

Title: The Wigwam
It was beginning
Our heads out
Six deep
The Wigwam
Keep from being seen
Keep from getting run over
Hunted
Solemn
Laying on our backs
That night, the next
I never believed it
Everybody was asleep
A deed ain’t ever forgot
Warn’t no body
Anymore
