Across the hall farther than the sun
I glance across just for a little fun
Our eyes meet in an instant
Even though your so distant
our emotions are bound at the hips

Like a blossom in a spring days heat
I feel a rush of warmth when our eyes meet
A smile is all I desire,
From you a top your spire
A wink is all I crave
Even in the darkest cave
Even though I lost my emotion
Life still continues with constant motion
I need to overcome my mistakes
I didn’t mean to do this in multiple takes
Just let me get over what I’ve done
It was a choice maybe not the right one
I know I’ve made a change of pace
Sadly, I will not know until the end of this race.

Death, Life, Rot
Decomposing in the dark
Underground wrapped in bark
A wooden cage to keep the soul
Pieces are eaten taken from the whole
Split and severed from the flesh
These maggots become a boundless mesh
Covering the sludge that is me
Ending my rotting reality.
