A Night in the Park

The sky is completely dark, but the stars are shining bright. Everything is quiet, I can’t even hear a dog bark. The constellations are quite a sight. Suddenly I see a spark- a shooting star making the sky light. What a time to be at the park! I just might have to leave my mark.

Ripples

Green mountains reflect perfectly across the lake- until the rain comes.

Square One

There’s something distancing us- a tension. We are in the in between, someone has to say something, but neither of us know how. So we stay silent. Then you reach your hand out and our pinkies touch and somehow that says enough for now.
