The Environmental Leadership for Youth (ELY) program is seeking 8th-12th graders in the Willamette Valley. Program events run spring through summer and are FREE to youth committing to the whole program. Space is limited. An information meeting in Eugene for youth and families is coming upFebruary 7th.

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year!
This is an exciting time at Cal Young Middle School. We have a lot of new faces around here, and this is a great season. I’ve updated multiple aspects of my website. Under the Parent tab is a document entitled “my child is struggling… what can I do?” There are many resources to help your child navigate middle school. Also, under the Students tab I have linked the homework assignments list under “what do I have for homework?”. High School Orientation Day Tuesday, Sept. 4
Eighth grade families: A Ninth Grade Orientation and Transition Day will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Please plan to have your student attend. This is a half-day for new high school students the day before regular classes begin, to help ninth grade students get a strong start to their high school experience. Your high school will send you more information in August.

Familias de estudiantes de octavo grado: Se ha programado un día de orientación y transición para el noveno grado el martes 4 de septiembre de 8:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m., el día anterior del comienzo de las clases regulares. Este medio día ayudará a los nuevos estudiantes de preparatoria a comenzar bien su experiencia en la escuela preparatoria. Por favor, asegúrese que su estudiante este presente. Su escuela preparatoria le enviará más información en agosto.
