Tues. 11/12 — “B” Day — Freshmen 9A and Sophomores 10C

FOR FRESHMEN:

Begin research in groups for a five minute presentation on some aspect of Japanese culture that plays a part in our novel.

The following absent students need to contact someone in their group for a hwk assignment so you can keep up with your group. If you don’t, you run the risk of falling so far behind that you have to do a separate project on your own, and no one wants that!

I.S. (male) — You’re in the “Samurais” group, so contact Blaise, Lucio, Nolan, Noah S, or Kai M.

I. S. (female) — You’re in the “Leprosy” group, so contact Cameron, Laurel, Kayleigh, Cally, or Victor

HWK: Each group handed out hwk tasks for members to research in order to come to class next time ready to work.

FOR SOPHOMORES:

Turn in vocab hwk and review the words

Quiz on Ch. 5 and discussion of the novel

Finish setting art

HWK: Read Ch. 6. If not finished with setting art, finish for next class
