Trapped

Trapped

Rhyming

I put a hand on the boundary

Looking to the outside world sourly.

I pounded against it many a time

I was a victim of a crime.

How much time passed is unknown

While plants indoors have grown.

I do not deserve to be here

But no one will come near.

Here I stand alone

With no body of my own.

Glass shattered like art

Resembling my own heart.

I wish I could leave

For a life I wish to retrieve.

Vengeance is so much nearer

For he who trapped me in the mirror.
