Babe Ruth
When I was seven
I sat in a booth
And watched Babe Ruth
Hit the ball with so much spoof
When Ruth would be Ruth
My dog would roof
Oh how the youth, loved Babe Ruth

Haiku
Prison
A concrete plagued room
The windows began to talk
Freedom overlooked

Tanka
The System
Is it worth my time
To be entrapped and confined
Apart of the lines
My only limited time
So called school, Leads me to fool

Free Verse
Titanic
She layed on the wooden door
Alive, in a sea full of emptyness
A lover gave his life
To keep her warm through the night
Giving up his breath
To make sure she did not see death
The night was dark
A remembered landmark

Lyrical
Ex Girl
Who do you think you are?
A star?
I be sittin’ under them apple trees
Eatin’ all that gluten
Call me Isaac Newton

Don’t go to far
I’ll pull up in a car
You think you gon diss me?
That’s funny, come kiss me
I know you miss me

I think it’s interesting
All your mistressing
You don’t think I can see all your lies?
In your eyes
When you tell me your going to the store
I know its much more

Don’t go to far
I’ll pull up in a car
You think you gon diss me?
That’s funny, come kiss me
I know you miss me

Yeah your done
You think its all fun
Just know
I’m ‘Bout to blow
