Why did you change your name and appearance to try an fit in with people of a higher social status?
- When I was young I grew up on a farm in North Dakota, and wasn’t very wealthy before I joined the Army so when I started making money it needed to seem like I was rich before so it wouldn’t be very suspicious
Did you feel like you were trapped in North Dakota and is that why you joined the military after you ran away?
- After I had ran away from home I didn’t really know what to do with myself and in need of money with the war starting I decided the best way to go was to just join the Army.
Why did you always throw such extravagant parties?
- I was trying to get Daisy. In the process of this though I was gaining a name for myself of throwing the best parties in the East Egg.
