So it goes (poem)

Feel the whole world on your shoulders,

Chest feeling like your heart is made of boulders,

Yet nobody knows till they stop growing but still get older.

So it goes.

Seasons start to get blurry,

The mind of the people start to get worried

But for the wrong reasons,

It gets harder to feel even.

So it goes.

Grass grows even greener on your side,

You still feel pity for the mother,

A blind man couldn’t see it with his good eye,

This is the third time you’ve been asked if you want another.

So it goes.

Hands in pocket hoping you want drop them,

Screaming of the waves starts to sound excited,

One of these grains of sand gotta be a gem,

Making eye contact with the water hoping it knows,

The setting of the sun still seems to be undecided.

So it goes.

Everybody gather round

I’m still standing sit down

And I know I’ve been down

But I’m bound to come around

Stay with me please
