BREAKING NEWS: 32 year old found shot and killed in murder suicide

      Terrible news has befallen the high class community of West Egg. Following up the incident of Mrs. Wilson’s death her widowed husband has shot and killed Jay Gatsby. Just 8 days ago reports of the scene depict the dead bodies of both Gatsby and Wilson. This terrible death hits us very hard here at Long’s Weekly with Jay Gatsby being one of our long time readers and the close friend of our publisher. Following this incident has been an increase of ethanol sales at multiple locations. Additionally the all of Gatsby’s drug stores are being put into the hands of the wonderful Meyer Wolfsheim. Meyer had this to say about the news about Mr. Gatsby: “He was a wonderful business partner.” 

       The funeral of Jay Gatsby took place this morning. His father also made an appearance surprising the few who attended. We are sadly reporting that additionally to his lavish lifestyle Jay Gatsby had a hidden identity, James Gatz. James Gatz is the man we all know as Jay Gatsby.  Many theories are springing about why the man had two names with the most popular being a connection to some sort of underground organization. Obviously this statement is completely false and has no grounding in reality.
