ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
FINAL ASSIGNMENT
Description:
In the link below I made a partner makeover. I took 5 pictures (at least) off the internet including the background. I also took a picture with one of my friends to make the partner part of the makeover. To make this image I used magnetic lasso, magic wand and transition. I also used a lot of layers. The size of the background was 800 by 600.
Reflection: What I made was a partner makeover of a friend and I in the grand canyon. I took a couple images off the internet to help me make the canyon part of the picture. I also put a few cartoon characters in the picture. I think I did really good on this project and I’m gonna miss you Leslie!!! 😀
FOUR CORNERS
Description: Students learn the basic tools and use of Flash timeline, frames, key frames, and tweens to create a 120 frame (10 second) animation. The animation must have at least 5 layers (1 layer for each ball, and a layer for an object that will appear, spin and disappear, the show up again at the very end), and use tweens to create synchronized animation that has 4 different colored balls or objects positioned in the 4 corners of the canvas that close to the center either individually or at the same time, then pause and split back out to the original 4 corners position. When the balls split away at the end, an object will appear, spin, disappear, and show up again at the end.
Reflection: Think link above goes to flash. In my flash, it has 4 balls that travel around the page that end with a surprise. I took one picture off the internet and I used a lot of classic tween. I think I did very well on this project and I hope it pays off.
EYEBALLS
Description: Students learn the basic tools and use of Flash timeline, frames, key frames, and tweens to create a 120 frame (10 second) animation. The animation must have 4 layers (Head, Eye Sockets, Eyeballs, and Ball), and use tweens to create synchronized animation that has the eyeballls following the motion of the ball around the screen canvas.
Reflection: In the project above, I think I did quite well with this assignment. I used classic tween, shape tool and a lot of other tools. I also had a lot of fun doing and and I hope you like it.
COMIC MAKEOVER
Description: Students use their familiarity with Illustrator tools they learned in the Name Game assignment (including the selection and direct selection tools, and specialized applications using text, using layers, gradients, symbols, clipping masks, and shape manipulation tools) to modify a cartoon character, superhero, or comic character that they will use a basis for creating a fantasy makeover. For this assignment, students must demonstrate knowledge of each of the listed tools and applications in one design that is theme based/tells a story. The outcome should not appear to be a random showing, but instead a deliberate and well though out composition showing their ability to use the tools.
Reflection: The adobe illustrator above shows daffy duck in night time. I used the crystalize tool. I also used paint bucket and a lot of shape tools. I really like what I did and I hope you do too.
NAME GAME
Description: Students are introduced to basic Illustrator tools including the selection and direct selection tools, and specialized applications using text (text on paths, creating outlines, grouping and un-grouping), using layers, gradients, symbols, clipping masks, and shape manipulation tools. For this assignment, students must demonstrate knowledge of each of the listed tools and applications in one design that is theme based incorporating their name. The outcome should not appear to be a random showing, but instead a deliberate and well though out composition showing their ability to use the tools.
Reflection: When you look at my name game photo you’ll see gradient, shapes, stroke, symbols, clipping mask, some swirls (made with swirl tool), type on a path, text and layers. I tried my very best on this and I also think it was really fun
SHOTS & ANGLES
Students learn to use the cameras to demonstrate an understanding of various techniques. They use the Shots and Angles handout to reference 5 camera shots and 5 camera angles, then compile the footage in iMovie to show their work. Students will provide their own soundtrack using Garage Band, then upload to their ePortfolios.
This is my first imovie and I know I devoted my time to finishing this. I hope you like it as much as I do. To get my music I developed a song from garage band.
MAGAZINE COVER
Students are to demonstrate their knowledge of using Photoshop tools including masking tools, image resizing and filters. They must find a background image at either 1024×768 pixels or 800×600 pixels, and then bring in a minimum of 4 images from the web to create a fantasy composite image. Composition, masking, detail, perspective and other basic design technique will be included in the grading. Files must be saves as native .psd and also as a .pdf. Students will upload their final piece as a PDF to their ePortfolios as a page/kid to Digital media with the assignment order number, and with a detailed assignment description (can be copied and pasted from here) and reflection restating what they did, how they did it, and how they feel about their work.
I think I did okay on this photo shop. I realized I made a few mistakes, but I learned some more things from those mistakes. I also used a few background pictures and I used magnetic lasso a lot.

I think I did pretty well on this best shot. It took time and I tried my best but overall its pretty good. I put in a few pictures including a fairy, a flower, some stars, a large star and a snowy background. I used magnetic lasso to cut out all these things.
