ClosedCal Young Agenda Planners in ELA8
Ms. Turner’s Agenda Policy:
I require students to write my daily agenda (both CW and HW) in their agendas each day at the start of class. The 8th grade agenda is written on whiteboard at the back of my room each day. I also have a physical absence agenda with each day’s agenda written inside. If a student is absent, I expect them to copy the agenda for each day he or she missed from the absence agenda upon his or her return.
Agenda Legend/Key
CW=classwork and must be finished as homework if not finished in class.
HW = homework and is generally due the next day unless a specific due date is noted.
SSR = Silent sustained reading of independent reading book for the first twenty minutes of class.
SSW = Silent sustained writing with varying topics for the first twenty minutes of class.
