Meet Mr. Chinn
Hello Holt Families,
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself to you as your principal at Holt Elementary School. This is my fourth year as a proud Holt Bolt.
I’ve been in 4J since 1995 (or since 1976 if you count when I was a 4J student), starting as a substitute teacher and then being hired at Howard Elementary School as an Instructional Technology Specialist. Next, I taught a 2/3 blend for some years and later became Howard’s Title 1 Coordinator. When I made the switch to administration, I was first an assistant principal at Awbrey Park and Meadowlark/Buena Vista for a year. Next, I was assistant principal at Cal Young Middle School for three years. After that I was principal at Yujin Gakuen & Corridor for five years and most recently was principal at Howard Elementary School for eight years.
