Assignment #2: Name Game w/Adobe Illustrator
Using adobe Illustrator, students will practice using eight following tools to get to gain a basic understanding of AI – Layers, text, type on a path, shapes, stroke, gradient, symbols, clipping mask & swirl tools. Once they have demonstrated that they can use the tools they are to save the document as a .jpg and upload to their ePortfolio on the Adobe Illustrator page.
Reflection: This assignment was to demonstrate basic AI tools. I used clipping mask to make the ‘L’ in my name. I used symbols for the floating dandelions and I used gradient and shape tools for the sun. I thought I did a fabulous job, and Miss Leslie is the best teacher EVER!!
