New Reading Expectation
*Weekly Reading Cards and Worksheets are no longer going to be used this term. I have replaced them with a Weekly Newspaper/Magazine Article. There is a half- sheet to be filled out and turned in every Tuesday. Students may access articles from the internet and send me a copy or link to the article, or they may cut out a newspaper or magazine article and attach it to the half sheet.
This week we are beginning Soldier’s Heart, a book by Gary Paulsen. Set during the Civil War, it is a story of the enlistment and service of a boy named Charley Goddard in the “First Minnesota Volunteers”.
