John B. Keane
John Brendan Keane (July 21, 1928 – May 30, 2002) was born and raised in Listowel, County Kerry. He was a prolific writer of plays, short stories, essays and novels. The films The Field and Durango were based on one of his plays and one of his novels. Here are some web resources on John B. Keane:
