Daisy Buchanan is the wife of Tom Buchanan and mother of their child. She’s wealthy and has it all. She lives in a beautiful mansion in East Egg and most likely gets anything her heart desires. She’s beautiful and charming, at first at least. She is usually wearing white gowns and white flowers, etc which can be symbolic of innocence and purity. She’s a very hard person to read though. She’s seems to be very indecisive. She’s the object of Gatsby’s obsession. He is madly in love with her and she knows it. Does she truly love him back though or is she just in love with the attention?
