As the first trimester comes to a close, here are a few important dates to remember:

Monday, November 25: All late work and re-writes due for first term

Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27: Finals Schedules at both campuses

Wednesday, November 27: Last Day of Term 1

Monday, December 2: No School–Grading Day

Tuesday, December 3: First day of Term 2

Here is a quick list of important dates coming up in October and November:

NO SCHOOL: October 10 & 11 (MIDTERM GRADING DAY AND PD)

JUNIOR IB REGISTRATION FORMS DUE: October 15

CCR DAY/NO CLASSES: October 16

NO SCHOOL/PD DAY:  November 7

NO SCHOOL/VETERANS DAY: November 11

Hello juniors and their families,

We will begin counseling for any junior who is thinking about taking ANY IB exams in ANY subject area, including pursuing the full IB diploma. Students should sign up for a counseling session outside of the IHS office–each meeting lasts about 15 minutes and is a chance for students to ask questions and then possibly register for IB exams in May. Note: signing up for a counseling session is only necessary if a student is thinking about testing in IB–and signing up does not mean you automatically have to take an exam! This is a good chance to sit down one-on-one with a junior teacher and get all your questions answered about IB.
