With restaurants, cafes and food trucks, live music, street vendors and eerie entertainment, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss—especially the return of the fan-favorite pet parade! Come dressed in your best costume and experience the perfect blend of family fun and hair-raising scares.
Be prepared for weather, because this event is happening rain or shine!
Pet & Bike Parade
1 p.m.
Enjoy a horde of adorned pets as they reign over the streets of Eugene. New this year: the Leaders of the Pack bike procession will lead the parade, sponsored by Shift Community Cycles. Map of the parade route (PDF).
- Attention pets: dress up with your humans and strut your stuff in the parade! Registration begins at noon. Join us at Hult Center Breezeway, by the intersection of 7th Ave. and Willamette St. All pets must be leashed and owners are responsible for hydrating and cleaning up after their furry monsters.
- Join the Leaders of the Pack: meet us at the parade start to lead the pet procession on your bicycle. We’re seeking werewolves, pet-and-person co-cyclists and doggie wannabes. Come in your furriest getup and be ready to howl along with seasonal tunes to kickoff the festivities.
Trick-or-Treating
2-5 p.m.
Get ready to fill your biggest candy bag with a bounty of sweet snacks. Participating trick-or-treat businesses will display bright orange candy corn flags outside their storefronts. Trick-or-Treat Stops (PDF)
“Monstrous Map of the Macabre” Scavenger Hunt of Spooky Attractions
2-6 p.m.
Pick up your raffle card at the info booth at Broadway and Olive St. As you monster-hunt your way through the streets, find the numbered attractions on the map to collect secret code letters. Once your letters reveal the hidden message, return your completed raffle card to the info booth for a chance to win a prize from downtown merchants.
