- Use go to stories
- Act out characters
- Be comfortable using Self depreciating humor
- Tell jokes that elevate other people
- Double down on other peoples jokes
You should use your hands and act it out. Make fun of your own “flaws”. If you can learn to laugh at yourself its often much appreciated. Being in the “in” can allow you to joke about things. I can tell jokes about Swedish people/culture and oddities….I can’t joke about “deaf jokes” , but my wife can…. Know your self and know your audience.

How to GIVE (not get) laughter!!
Think about how this also is true in life. Paying attention & being observant! Your surroundings are an important part of who you are. Focus on being present and be intentional in what you do and deliver. People that are able to use humor must be “present” and pay attention to what is happening around you, what is said, tone of voice, body language….. Can you do this if you are focused on just wanting to deliver your own message/joke?
Comedian Michael Jr. is incorporating all this, and he’s giving back – having shows at prison, shelters, for the homeless….
More than FUNNY with Michael Jr.
