Youngman at Madison

This week students were split into two groups depending on what practice they needed. All students either had a blue or pink worksheet, due by Wednesday. There is no other homework this week. Students will be taking a math placement test.

Monday, 5/5: Percent worksheet.

Tuesday - Thursday: There is no homework. Students will be taking a math placement test.

Friday, 5/9: No school!

Tuesday, 4/29: page 393-4, #1-19, odd

Wednesday, 4/30: page 396, #1-18 (even), #19-20, standardized test, 1-2

Thursday, 5/1: page 406-7, #1-7

Monday, 4/28: Square & square root worksheet (salmon)

Tuesday, 4/29: Pythagorean theorem (pur)

For math classes, periods 3 & 7, there were two assignments due: page 371, # 1-11, and page 371, # 1-24, both in the purple packet.

Period 2 had an extra assignment, the last page in the purple packet, #31-61, odd.

By Friday, all students must have completed worksheets 6.2A and 6.3A. There was one other assignment, but some students had a grey, solving equations worksheet, and others had a yellow worksheet, page274, selected problems.

Monday, 4/14: Worksheet 3.4, writing equations (green). show work in spirals.

The other assignments for the week were a worksheet (yellow) on solving equations, # 1-17.

All homework this week can be found in the purple packet distributed last Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday’s homework was changed from the list on the purple packet to allow the students to get some more practice with fractions and multiplication. There was a multipage pink packet that needed to be completed by Monday, 4/21.

Monday, 4/7: Blue review worksheet # 1- 6. Record work in your spiral. Show how you get the answer!

Tuesday, 4/8: Blue review worksheet (same as Monday), #7 - 12. Show how you get the answer!

Wednesday, 4/9: No Homework (a modification to the schedule)

Thursday, 4/10: Solving equations worksheet. Due Monday (no school on Friday).

State testing is finished and students have been given a purple cover packet that lists the class work and homework planned for the next two weeks. All pages listed are in the packet.
Monday, 4/7: Page  359, #1 - 12 and page 361, #41 - 49

Tuesday, 4/8: Page 359 - 60, #13 - 26

Wednesday, 4/9: Page 360 - 1, # 27 - 40

Thursday, 4/10: Page 363, “Free response”, explain answer! Due Monday (no school on Friday!)
