Week 12: Newsletter

Tomorrow’s School Spirit Day is pajama day!  Your child may come to school in his/her pajamas or comfy cozy clothes.  Sorry no slippers, blankets, or stuffed animals.

Today your child met with his/her 4th grade buddy!  We will be pairing up with our buddies from Ms. Robison’s class twice a month for supervised learning and social activities throughout the year.  We hope and expect that your child will get a lot out of the experience.  Buddies provides an excellent opportunity for older children to be caring helpers, teachers and friends.  Younger children benefit from having a role model and special, older friend at school.  You might ask your child what s/he did with his/her buddy.  The buddy friendships turn out to be very important to children.  Your interest in this relationship will only make it more valuable.

Since tomorrow (Wednesday) is the last school day for this week, you might want to turn in Monday Mailers and library books so they don’t get forgotten or lost during our long holiday weekend.

Couldn’t keep the good news to myself!

Congrats to the following students for their IXL accomplishments!
